All of the programs in the VPS StraightTalk webinar series are developed or reviewed by Jim Hitchner.  Jim is nationally known speaker and educator. He has coauthored 20 courses, taught more than 60 courses, published more than 150 articles, and has made over 400 conference presentations for organizations including the American Institute of CPAs and the National Associate of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the National Judicial College. Jim served on the AICPA task force on business valuation standards that developed the Statement on Standards for Valuation Services (SSVS) No. 1, Valuation of a Business, Business Ownership Interest, Security, or Intangible Asset. He has over 40 years experience in the business valuation profession and was inducted into the AICPA BV Hall of Fame.  Jim is the editor of Financial Valuation Application and Models.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Unless otherwise indicated all programs in the StraightTalk Webinar series meet the following criteria:

Program Level: Intermediate
Delivery Method: Group/Internet based
Pre-requisites: Understanding of basic business valuation concepts
CPE Credits: Two 50-minute CPE hours
Advance Preparation: None

Record Retention Policy:  VPS will retain course and course participant records for five years. These records will include the following: course outline; list of course participants; dates and locations of presentations; names of instructors/discussion leaders; copies of participant course evaluations; and amount of recommended CPE credit.

Refund Cancellation Policy:  Full refunds for webinars will be given by VPS if written cancellation requests are received 7 days or more prior to the date of the course.

Complaint-Resolution Policy: VPS will make every attempt to resolve complaints to the customer’s satisfaction. Our customer service department will handle calls.
