National Economic Outlook Summary
The National Economic Outlook Summary is a narrative report of the major factors affecting the U.S. economy that is published quarterly. The National Economic Outlook Summary covers economic performance factor including gross domestic product growth, inflation, interest rates, financial markets, construction and housing markets, and employment. It is exhaustively documented with footnotes and includes a separate multi-page list of sources.
The National Economic Outlook Summary is produced by Terry Allen CPA/ABV, ASA. Terry is the Managing Director of the Financial Valuation Group. The immediate past chair of the ASA BV Committee, she has also served on the AICPA’s BV Technical Issues Advisory Board and on the ABV Exam Committee. During her nearly 25 years in the valuation industry, she really came to see the value of a well-written, well-documented economic analysis and she decided to develop her own.
The National Economic Outlook Summary consists of three Microsoft Word files combined into a PDF Portfolio:
- There is an approximately 20 page full discussion document with charts and graphs.
- A three-page text only summary document.
- An end note page listing citations for all materials used to prepare the National Economic Outlook Summary.
